"Grace & Grit," an EP that brims with texture and range within hip-hop. Each track presents a unique flavor, allowing the emcee to flow effortlessly through various styles and demonstrate her versatility as an emcee.  Each track feels like a comfortable home for the artist.

The EP opens with "Bhow" modern hip-hop without skimp on bars, substance, or beat. With an energetic horn section driving the beat, Ladie flexes a lyrical muscle, shifting flows between booming hooks and literary, rapid-fire verses. "Come See What's Hannin" an uptempo track that features a southern sound where Ladie effortlessly delivers playful melodies with easy lyrics.

In "Pressure Point" Ladie comes straight out the gate rapping that there are no duplications to her and she stands on that, while embracing the sonic aesthetic of ‘90s East Coast hip-hop. The tone shifts on "3 joneses, 1 mic" with a raw emotional edge.  The moody jazz horns in "Time's Now" are the perfect backdrop for Ladie effortlessly shifting from hard-hitting hip hop bars to soft melodics. The EP concludes with "84 Dreaming," a smooth track reminiscent of a Sunday afternoon—ideal for cruising.

In creating this project, Ladie meticulously selected sounds and provided overall musical direction while working closely with a talented lineup of producers. The production team includes names like Heather Grey, whose work is deeply rooted in the boom-bap culture; 808-ray, A Grammy award-winning producer; Demetruis, whose sonic creativity shines through; NoLA, whose work is deftly produced; and Andrew Velez, who adds a fresh perspective to the mix, with his live performances on keys and trumpet.

The result is an outstanding collection that not only highlights her unique style but also serves as an ideal introduction for new listeners eager to dive into her world.
